Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: 2026-04-30 Last updated: 2026-04-30
This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not do when using the Wardly home-security planning and blind-spot visualization service at wdfsolutioons.com (the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service. Wardly is operated by WDF SOLUTIONS LTD (Companies House SC437083).
We keep this list short, clear, and enforceable. If you are not sure whether a use is allowed, ask first at support@wdfsolutioons.com.
1. General prohibitions
You must not use the Service to:
- Break the law. No activity that violates any applicable national, state, provincial, or local law, including export controls, sanctions, and criminal law.
- Endanger children. No content, request, or use that exploits, sexualises, or endangers minors. We report child sexual abuse material (CSAM) to the relevant authorities and preserve evidence as required.
- Create non-consensual likenesses or deepfakes. No generating or processing content that depicts a real, identifiable person without their consent, particularly in a sexual, defamatory, or misleading way.
- Harm others. No hate speech, harassment, threats, doxxing, incitement to violence, or content that promotes self-harm.
- Commit fraud. No phishing, identity theft, scams, or schemes that deceive other people.
- Misuse regulated topics. No content that promotes illegal drugs, illegal weapons, illegal financial schemes, or other regulated activities outside the bounds of the law that applies to you.
- Infringe intellectual property. No uploading photos, designs, brand assets, or other content you do not have the right to use, and no copying of Wardly's own intellectual property.
- Abuse the platform. No bypassing rate limits, no automated scraping of the Service, no reverse engineering except where allowed by law, no probing security controls without our written permission, no using stolen accounts, and no reselling Wardly outputs as a separate service.
2. Home-security-specific prohibitions
Because Wardly handles photos of homes and produces security-related visualizations, the following uses are specifically prohibited:
(a) No surveilling other people's homes. You must not upload photos of someone else's home for the purpose of stalking, harassing, surveilling, or monitoring an ex-partner, a neighbour, a public figure, a celebrity, an estranged family member, or any other individual. Wardly is for planning the security of a home you live in or are authorised to plan for. It is not a surveillance tool.
(b) No planning unauthorised entry. You must not use Wardly outputs — including blind-spot maps, sight-line analyses, and intruder point-of-view simulations — to plan, attempt, or carry out a break-in, theft, burglary, trespass, or any other form of unauthorised entry to a property. Using Wardly to plan a crime is a serious breach and we will cooperate with law enforcement where required.
(c) Explicit homeowner consent for third-party homes. If you upload photos of a home that is not your own primary residence, you confirm that you have the explicit, informed consent of the homeowner (or, where the homeowner is not the resident, the lawful resident) to upload those photos and to generate visualizations from them. You must be able to evidence that consent if we ask. Examples of acceptable use include planning security with an elderly relative who has asked for help, or working on a property you own and rent out with the tenant's consent. Examples of unacceptable use include uploading photos of a friend's home you visited, a holiday rental, an Airbnb you stayed in, or any home where you do not have the resident's explicit consent.
(d) Do not present Wardly outputs as a professional security audit. You must not use a Wardly visualization, simulation video, or annotation as the basis of a professional security audit, an insurance assessment, court evidence, a police-report attachment, an insurance claim, or any regulated security report. Wardly visualizations are informational only and are not certified by any security authority. For any such purpose, refer to a licensed security professional. Presenting a Wardly output as a certified report — to a client, insurer, court, or law-enforcement agency — is a breach of this policy and may constitute fraud under applicable law.
(e) Do not impersonate Wardly or its personnel. You must not represent yourself or anyone else as a "Wardly security engineer", a "Wardly-certified installer", a "Wardly dispatch agent", or any similar role. Wardly is a software service and does not employ, certify, or dispatch on-site personnel. Anyone who presents themselves to a homeowner as being sent by Wardly to perform an in-person security service is doing so without our authority.
3. Security and abuse of the Service
You must not:
- Try to gain unauthorised access to any account, server, or data.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service except through a security-research disclosure agreement signed with us.
- Disrupt the Service for other users (for example through denial-of-service attacks, mass automated requests, or resource exhaustion).
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk content.
- Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or jurisdiction to obtain access you would not otherwise have.
4. Content you upload
You are responsible for everything you upload. By uploading, you confirm that:
- You have the right to upload the content (see our Content License for the full warranties).
- The content does not contain malware or other harmful code.
- The content does not breach this policy.
We may, but are not obligated to, review, remove, or restrict content that we reasonably believe breaches this policy.
5. AI-generated outputs
You must not use Wardly's AI outputs to:
- Defame, harass, or deceive a real person.
- Create misleading content about a real property or owner.
- Construct misleading "before / after" visuals to support a fraudulent insurance claim, sale, rental listing, or court argument.
- Train a competing AI model.
6. Enforcement
If we believe you have breached this policy, we may take any of the following actions, alone or in combination, depending on the seriousness of the breach:
- Warn you and ask you to correct the issue.
- Remove specific content from your account.
- Suspend your account temporarily while we investigate.
- Terminate your account and your access to the Service.
- Refer the matter to law enforcement, regulators, or other authorities where required by law or where we believe there is a serious risk of harm.
For severe breaches — for example, child-safety violations, planning a crime, or impersonating Wardly personnel — we will normally proceed straight to termination and, where appropriate, referral to authorities, without prior warning.
We will use proportionate judgement and, where it is safe and reasonable to do so, give you a chance to explain or correct.
7. Reporting a breach
If you see or experience something that you think breaches this policy:
- Email support@wdfsolutioons.com with the subject line "Acceptable Use report".
- Include the project, account, or content you are reporting (URL, project ID, or screenshot), what you believe was breached, and any context that helps us investigate.
- We acknowledge reports within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 10 business days.
If you are reporting urgent harm to a person or a child-safety concern, please also contact your local emergency services or relevant child-safety authority.
8. Right to investigate
We may investigate suspected breaches and may, where lawful and proportionate, access your account content for that purpose. We log access for accountability. If we share information with law enforcement, we do so only as required by law or to address a serious risk of harm.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, give notice in-product or by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect.
