These Terms of Service ("Terms") form the agreement between you and WDF SOLUTIONS LTD, a private limited company registered in Scotland (Companies House number SC437083), with its registered office at 9 Panton Green, Livingston, Scotland EH54 8RY ("Wardly", "we", "us", "our"). They govern your use of the Wardly home-security planning and blind-spot visualization service available at wdfsolutioons.com (the "Service").
By creating an account, signing in, or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Wardly is a software service that lets you upload photos of rooms in your home and returns AI-generated visualizations: annotated maps showing potential blind spots, before-and-after comparisons, and short simulation videos including an intruder point-of-view. The Service is provided as software only. Wardly does not sell hardware, does not install hardware, does not connect to live cameras, and does not issue insurance reports, court evidence, or any kind of certified security audit.
The visualizations are intended to help you have better planning conversations and understand your space. They are informational and must be independently verified before you act on them. See our AI Disclaimer for more.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use the Service only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, which you must acknowledge during signup. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for the accuracy of the information you provide.
3. Subscription plans, credits, and pricing
3.1 Plans
The Service is offered on three tiers, all priced in US dollars:
- Look — free, includes 50 credits per month.
- Watcher — $20 per month or $192 per year, includes 500 credits per month.
- Sentinel — $200 per month or $1,920 per year, includes 10,000 credits per month.
Subscription credits are granted at the start of each billing period and do not roll over to the next period. Unused subscription credits are forfeited at the end of the billing period.
3.2 Credit packs
You may also buy one-time credit packs that are added to your account in addition to any subscription credits:
- Small — $5 for 100 credits.
- Medium — $20 for 500 credits.
- Large — $100 for 3,000 credits.
Credit packs are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
3.3 Nature of credits
Credits are service usage units that you spend to generate visualizations and other AI outputs. Credits are not money, not a stored-value wallet, not virtual currency, and not redeemable for cash. They have no value outside the Service, cannot be transferred between accounts, and cannot be exchanged for other goods or services. Refunds and other rights relating to credits are governed by our Refund Policy: in summary, unused credit packs are refundable within 14 days of purchase to the original payment method, consumed credits are non-refundable, and promotional or gifted credits are non-refundable.
3.4 Auto-renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions automatically renew at the same interval at the listed price unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans renew annually. The renewal charge is taken from your saved payment method on file.
You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep access to your paid plan until then. There are no partial refunds for unused days within a billing period unless required by your local consumer-protection law.
3.5 Price and plan changes
We may change our prices, plans, or credit allowances. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email and/or in-product before any change to a subscription you already hold takes effect at your next renewal. If you do not accept the change, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
3.6 Taxes
Listed prices may exclude VAT, sales tax, or other applicable taxes. Where we are required to collect tax, it is added at checkout based on your billing country and shown on your invoice.
4. Your content and intellectual property
4.1 You keep your content
You retain all ownership of the room photos, project notes, and other content you upload (your "User Content"). Wardly does not claim ownership.
4.2 Licence you grant to us
You grant Wardly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only to subprocessors that operate the Service) and limited licence to host, store, process, transmit, display back to you, and generate derivative AI outputs from your User Content for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence ends when the User Content is deleted under our retention policy.
4.3 AI outputs
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you receive a worldwide licence to use the AI outputs we generate from your User Content for personal and lawful commercial purposes (for example, sharing with a contractor or family member). You may not represent the outputs as a certified security audit, insurance assessment, court evidence, or police-grade documentation — see the AI Disclaimer.
4.4 Wardly's intellectual property
The Service, including all software, models, designs, branding, and documentation, is owned by Wardly and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property law. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Service only in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you must not upload photos of homes you are not authorised to plan for, you must not use Wardly to plan unauthorised entry, and you must not present Wardly outputs as a professional security audit. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
6. AI disclaimer (summary)
You acknowledge that AI outputs are visualizations for planning conversations only. They may contain errors, miss real risks, or include false positives. Wardly visualizations are not certified security audits and do not replace assessment by a licensed security professional. They are not insurance-grade reports, court-grade evidence, or police-grade incident documentation. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the outputs. 7. Service availability and changes
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may modify, add, or remove features, and we may impose reasonable limits (for example, on file size or rate of requests). For material adverse changes to a feature you actively use, we will give you reasonable advance notice.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time from the Billing page or by emailing support@wdfsolutioons.com. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or as required by law. On termination, your User Content is deleted within 30 days, and any remaining subscription access ends at the end of the current period. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, indemnification, governing law, dispute resolution) will survive.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy of AI outputs.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.
10. Limitation of liability
Subject to Section 9, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or lost business opportunities.
- Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) USD 100 or (b) the total fees you paid us for the Service in the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Because Wardly is informational software, you also acknowledge that we are not liable for any third-party criminal acts, intrusions, or property damage that occur in or near your home; responsibility for physical security rests with you and the licensed professionals you choose to engage.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wardly, its officers, employees, and agents, against any claim, loss, liability, or cost (including reasonable legal fees) arising from (a) your User Content, (b) your breach of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, (c) your misuse of the Service or AI outputs, or (d) your violation of any third-party right or applicable law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the change is material, we will notify you by email and / or in-product at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, you should stop using the Service and may close your account.
13. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes) are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of England and Wales. This choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection of mandatory rules of the law of the country where the consumer has their habitual residence.
14. Dispute resolution
Before starting any formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at support@wdfsolutioons.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally. We will respond within 30 days.
If the dispute is not resolved informally, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that:
- if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live; and
- nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Where binding arbitration is offered or required by your local law, consumer-protection carveouts apply: you keep your right to bring small-claims actions, your statutory rights cannot be waived, and class-action rights are preserved where they cannot be waived under applicable law.
15. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, AI Disclaimer, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy, and Content License) form the entire agreement between you and Wardly regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
- Severability. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of that right.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- No agency. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship.
- Notices. We may give notice to you by email or in-product. You should send legal notices to support@wdfsolutioons.com and to our registered office.
